Milli Janatková and Jaroslav Kořán have just released a double album Songs of the Day and Songs of the Night, launched on May 13, 2026 at Čítárna Unijazz in Prague. The album is a cross-section of their fifteen-year musical collaboration. Janatková layered spontaneous vocal improvisations over Kořán’s musical motifs, which were later enriched with additional instruments and arrangements. The result is a diverse collection of compositions oscillating between energetic improvisation and ambient soundscapes, inspired by the sounds of nature and the city, as well as the shared playfulness of both artists.
