Milli Janatková was chosen to attend a German-Czech Music Dialogue and perform at Lokomov Club and Kosmos Chemnitz Festival. Thanks for the support of this wonderful journey: SoundCzech, Kreativní Praha, Kreatives Sachsen, Berlin Music Comission, Deutsch-Tschechischer Zukunftsfonds. The performances were realized on June 12 and 13, within the conference in the European City of Culture 2025 with interesting dialogue about culture sustainability, democracy and international collaboration.

Milli Janatková has released short videos documenting her journey to three states of India where she realised a music and visual arts tour in collaboration with Indian organizations Banglanatak a Exodus, and Czech export office SoundCzech. You can see all the videos on the author´s Youtube channel. The intercultural dialogue brings the possibilities of learning, getting to know, understanding and respecting other cultures among the religions, in a friendly and open atmosphere of acceptance and sense of humour.

Milli continues the set of large-format paintings with the smaller painting set of water colour and acrylic on canvas from 30 up to 50 cm. They express night, early morning and afternoon atmosphere of winter fogs and time before spring.

After tour in West Bengal, Milli Janatková performed at Mumbai Jazz Festival and Madras Jazz Festival in December 2024, in collaboration with Exodus India, SoundCzech and The Year of Czech Music. Photo by Exodus

Milli performed in three states of India, West Bengal, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu in November and December 2024. She interconnected Czech folk songs, jazz improvisation and her original music in collaboration with musicians from India, Réunion Island and Netherlands. The tour has been supported by the export office SoundCzech and project The Year of Czech Music, in cooperation with organizations Banglanatak.com and Exodus India. The performances took place in Kolkata, Bannabagram, Khanpur, Nanoor, Mumbai and Chennai and the feedback of the audience was amazing.

Milli is touring India with her music, Czech folk songs interconnecting with experimental jazz and improvisation in collaboration with local musicians. She is performing with great musicians from West Bengal, Holland and Réunion Island – Solah band, saxophonist Maarten Visser and Bengali musicians Dipannita Acharya, Arpan Thakur Chakraborty, Debalina Bhowmick, Joy Sankar and Baul musicians Girish Mondal and Gobinda Das. The tour has been supported by the export office SoundCzech and project The Year of Czech Music, in cooperation with Banglanatak.com and Exodus India.

After performing at the exhibition Czech and Greek Heroines Milli performed at absolutely full Baccara Bar in Lefkada, Greece. The audience was amazed as the energy of music, rhythm and dance was gorgeous.
