Quiet, Please! performance set up. Many thanks Štěpán Škoch and All Senses Production!
This DIY video from the performance Quiet, Please! hopefully pleases your eyes and ears.
I´m so delighted to be a part of a wonderful project Thieves of Dreams by Lenka Lichtenberg. Thanks the Arts Institute and SoundCzech Connect for supporting our cooperation! We met each other in New York in 2018 when we both received The Independent Music Awards for our ancestral and cultural projects (To My Roots and Lenka´s Masaryk) and the roots essense interconnected us. This is one of the results, I made a video for Lenka and music on her Grandma´s beautiful poem that was written in Theresienstadt in 1942-1945. I also portray a woman who is searching trust and faith after being disappointed by loss of her illusions and even her closest people. This creative work has been impressive for me and through the music and visual scenes I pay a tribute to all the people who have had to experience much suffering caused not by their fault. All the album is strong and beautiful because the compositions were written by seven women composers including Lenka!
So greatful and thankful you all came to support my launch performance! It was gorgeous to see you there in Prague. My seven-years-long dream and project came true and both new album Quiet, Please! and audiovisual performance was born.
